No bug but a balance issue :
If you glyph on a level that needs epic to reach te next stage, there is almost only progress possible with magicals of the next item stage for there are no epic items on the MP or just in very small amounts.
Getting 6+ times "???" in one attempt then (mag. next Tier) is too high to my mind. Maybe I was just unlucky getting this in a row so often, but if it is in the formula, it needs a change since glyphing levels slow anyways (low % progress).

well yep, basically the same counts for the arcane+ rank. the range of items you are able to glyph is just too damn small, if you draw a comparison to muting.

Yep... those levels are just sad. Then when you reach magical of the next Tier you thank the Gods.

The low-mid tiers are nothing compared to what awaits you later on when you need a lot more prof per rank up on top.
But thats part of the business with glyphing, its a way too powerful skill to just get into the higher ranks without major effort.
If everyone would run around with dozens of 40 stats glyphs, the regular gear would loose its value, too.

Later on in the higher tiers you will even struggle hard on the mystical ranks already
because they drop more seldom than low tier stuff and you have to fight for them with the muters.

It gets really not so funny THEN when you have to try the next tier magicals on the mystical rank already
and fail like 80+ % of them as one is even more ranks behind them at that point of the skilling table.
Once someone is at arcane or even higher, the chances to pass are much better already.

Anyway, seems like drops rates for higher tier items got a little better. glyphing is just meant to be much more difficult than muting.
Imagine one could already glyph lvl 55 stuff like the muters, it would be way too overpowered.
Even t3 glyphs are VERY useful already and these days its not hard to get there.

In these regards, if one wants to get higher its just survival of the fittest to deal with the issues or quit it and shift to another skill.

Confirmed, the room generator could possibly pick a spot where it removes wall(s) that were already not there. Long story short, I rewrote it, and did a bunch of maze generations to test that it is working much better now (possibly too well, but I'll leave it for a bit and see

Note that for maps with lots of rooms, sometimes rooms may overlap, so getting an accurate count is not always possible, however, it should always generate rooms properly after this fix. Also, this won't take effect until I restart the server the next time that I do.

fseelye: Read post one. Browser? Can you reproduce this 100%? Did you read my previous response to you regarding this re: the "." and "!" indicators? You're just continually reposting the same things, without providing additional feedback nor methodology to reproduce reliably. I have never once seen this happen, and I've done hundreds of glyphs in this update alone.



Thanks for this report and confirmation that those texts do stay on the iphone (it is listed in the known issues list, but as unconfirmed). Not sure what the fix will be, apparently the iphone browser isn't properly registering a mouseout event. Figures.. In the meantime, you can install and use Chrome, and that should fix the issue until I have a way around whatever goofiness safari is doing.

Regarding Glyphing "difficulty" for certain ranks, this is 100% intended. The progress wasn't meant to be linear, to provide a challenge to bump up to that next tier.

Text isn't disappearing standing in group in town on firefox -- it's all still on my screen from 15 minutes ago

I can open every window / go into catacombs etc and it won't go away lol

My mutes are no longer stacking, is there something like with the fish that I need to check to get them to stack. Couldn't find it under options.
