I suppose a lot of games feature "end game" material and it seems to work out.
I still would like to see progression from "cata" to the "dungeon" be more realistic than currently possible.
Other than another whole dungeon after 71...it might be easier to implement a harder cata - kind of like Heroic dungeons in World of Wacraft. Then people with really good gear could face tougher monsters. Somewhat better exp and reward but you would need good gear in order to not get wiped out. It would also still fit the 1-71 MQ mold.
