these two took the time to make sure i was hooked before departing into the sunset

Killer_Stride. Started off in Djinnis (back when he was called that) guild, saw Joe a-slashing, joined him. We got along great, decided to form our own guild, The Four Elements. Slashed like beasts and actually made it to the top of page 2 with a 6 man guild, then life interfered, we all went afk. Joe made his own guild, Eclipse, and when I came back to d2jsp I hopped right in.

Back when I started slashing I didn't have much luck playing with no fg and no gear, but when I started skilling and working my way up the fishing ladder there were a few people who encouraged/inspired me in various ways:

1) Przy - very encouraging via PM and IRC (anyone remember d2jsp IRC? haha) and eventually I joined Solitude as my first guild.
2) NevV - sent me a nice PM back when I started selling fish and his welling mage guide inspired me and many others to play a decent mage on a budget.
3) Schmoogalaboo - great all around guy and answered a lot of questions I had about the game too.

Oh and I can't forget my first fish customer, Moojilsuh!

CyberJunkee, I believe he's an inspiration to us all

I was a guild owner and I wanted to have some pretty points in my guild.

So I guess my guild motivated me to join the Ladder Slasher community ^^
