I do not appreciate this tone. There is no direct negativity in his post, simple truth. I don't see any part of the message which is BS. Now if you infer there is another part external to this message that IS bs, then address it via PM. An attack aimlessly to one of my members is an attack aimlessly to the whole of The Trust. If you find that Roy has done some personal harm or w/e recently, then by all means do contact me and I will strive to get to the core of it. Though in most instances it's better you speak directly to the person causing you harm, perceived or not.

PMs are more effective at venting towards the particular person.

edit: An attempt to be on the topic, I would say that solo HC is even more feasible and safer than before. The timer count for disconnect is now 5 seconds, of course in 5 seconds with 3 ep waves anyone and everyone can die. However if you roll back and forth between the dark spots (for your levelling purposes) you can only ever get 2 mobs attacking you at any given point. That adds up to 10 total hits, far less than the 10+ before. HC is a matter of probability, if you are adventurous and want to see those ep waves, you invariably increase the probability of death. I'm sticking to my dark spots, chances are very slim I die there.

I appreciate the fact that I am identified as the man in this relationship. But my relationship carries 47 other partners. I will defend each and everyone of them as a starting point, now if I am unjustified, they would surely lose their place. I've mentioned it already that I'm less comfortable with my survivability in this version, but if that's the way it is then we can adjust ( I hope). I do have to agree that 3 EPs can be a bit much for solo though. I sat on my 60 vit level 46 warlock using a best-in-core lvl 45 193ee padded robe out of paranoia and was still smacked down to about half life in a matter of 3-4 consecutive hits between the 3 EPs after easily tanking them for about 5 seconds before that.

It's highly unpredictable what any given mob will do in this game now. It seems almost every monster switches between melee and casting pretty equally and rarely leans any more than 75% towards one.
I don't know what happened exactly on those deaths, but the top two links at least had high vit and pretty balanced builds that should have made dying pretty difficult as far as I'm concerned.

It's not especially clear how well int/dex can be used to reduce monster crits anymore. I do have a lower dext at this point, which could lead to taking bigger melee hits.
On that note, I did quite decently tanking with that same robe from 45-71 being the only tank in a group on my monk with a somewhat more balanced build.
