Yea agree .. This is the best update for LS i have seen and this game is so going into the right direction.

Imagine how this game will be in one or two more updates time

It's a good thing you know Nick so well. You know he has probably gotten more people to play ls over the last 6 months then any other. You also know he does this through enthusiasm and optimism. Nobody that knows him would even think that he's "kissing ass"....he isn't. He is truly enthusiastic about this update. He thrives on adversity and loves turning it into oppertunity.

I really think you owe him an apology since you spoke without knowing a thing about it. Random observations don't qualify as truth.

oh btw, I'm the guy that traded clubs in for an axe I hope that my gear will support the choice. I also like a lot of things about this update, a lot of other things I'm iffy about though. I would really hate to see my 180k charm turn into a 10k charm. If it happens, it happens though. Adapt and overcome...as they always say in the Marine Corps.

I posted my game stats because lvls like that have NEVER been reached before. Hence, my posting it supports why everyone should Like this update.

exactly this. switching str to dex gear if you got daggers can be annoying though.. but its nice to have the option to switch to caster monk or whatever.. due to the new opportunities

on a separate note
the clarification of weapon stat adjustments concerning str and dex
has not only levels the playing field,
it puts the "perfect dex" number myth to sleep for good,

also we are no longer at the mercy of healers
still a good group member
but no longer the end all of end all concerning solid climbs

imo it was something nice about ls, that there was no set value of str/dex you had to go for. now everyone will have the same ratio, just a few more or less of both depending on gear.

and healers are still very important and useful. you just dont want a pure healer who does nothing else in your group any more.
the only situation you dont need healers is with 3+ casters, because mobs die so fast then. but that doesnt work since the casters fall back in level from splashingso much...
