You always win you even have the first alche in sc w/o ever playing sc ls... thats how good you are

Everything put aside , LS is a small community and the majority of us are all friends . Coming into theses forums with the attitude you have is going to do nothing but hinder you .
KakeWalk has made his name by making useless suggestions every week , so yes they are met with opposition because he is making major game mechanic suggestions with little experience .
Persomaly I love reading suggestions as long as they at thought out with the knowledge necessary to make them .
You how ever are deciding to make your name by arguing with NO experience , you may think my post was was just being an ass but i did put why in there ( 23 stats popping up) there is already enuf
lagg with out that .
My advise to you is go back to d2 forums where your attitude is accepted and is the norm .

Ahh, okay. Smart to open up with the whole "we is all friends" argument while previously bashing the kirby guild, also mentioning my attitude when the first thing a newcomer will see from you in this topic is trash is a great idea.
As to how kakewalk has made his name I have no comment other then to say that this suggestion would definitely make this game more attractive. I do, as you correctly guessed, come from mainly diablo 2 forums which gives this suggestion merit. In diablo 2 life steal was very much nerfed by updates so when I first started this game I had no idea if this was the same as I could not tell if my life steal was doing anything.

Attitude comment again is another + to your argument as it shows how mature you are.

only way ls would become attractive to us is if it turns into your ideal game

These are the reactions I was expecting. I can understand the concern of too many numbers but I dont think it will be that much for this single reason:

Right now in arena(might have to be arena only add) its possible to see how much damage you take, and how much you heal for. Therefor the max amount of numbers you see pop up on your character is 2. You cant proc a life steal effect while healing, so it would still only show 2 numbers on your character. Damage taken, and the number you healed yourself by attacking. So for those freaking out that they will suddenly see more colors then a bejeweled game, relax. Its 1 new color, same amount of max numbers being showed at a single time on yourself
Of course more options would be a great thing

neat idea, but i don't think it would revitalize life steal - it's just not enough.
life steal is just an add now, and like most adds, it can be great (i'm assuming a bit here), but the setups in which it can shine seem to be very limited
so unless the stat is buffed up a bit i think it should just be ignored; but of course that's the attitude you're combating - perhaps the relevant debate is a factual one, perhaps you should be giving us evidence of your position rather than telling paul to change the game so that such evidence would be more obvious

pootar - i appreciate that you have a brain, and coming out of the gate swinging can be exciting, but i'm sure you'll agree that ultimately it's more effective if you get some friends behind you first, eh?
(or you could just look at how well deadlysanity's reception has been going and think about whether you'd like yours to go similarly)
