it may not be a steady multiplier of 3x every time but with a charm that shows nearly 600 it would on occassion hit near 1500 wouldn't you think?
It's like my sword, when the base damage shows 1350, sometimes i hit 1400 but i can also crit for 4200.

I'm just trying to figure out where is the source of damage coming from. Armor pierce and crit flux have never been a primary modifier and casters still thrive on intelligence especially since it ensures the balance of healing.
If intelligence is not proving to be an equal crit strike as dexterity provides, this is very interesting.

maybe it uses int instead of dex when calculating crits
i dunno but thats a good guess

if intelligence is the determinant for charm crit strikes, it should be equal to the value of dexterity to melee.
I should have a 3x multiplier at some point. I have about 1.5 multiplier for my maximum crit damage.

I just want to know where I can get some damage.

Well when your going melee you'll have a higher dex amount then going caster no? Pauls sticky seems to say dexterity now affects casting, may be wrong. While were at it, anyone know if you can *crit* heal yourself?

This is what I'm hinting at.
It is perfectly fine to align charms to show real value but if crit strike is assessed on charms then it should be dexterity equivalant.

The next question is, where does it come from? Certainly not dexterity. And I have almost 250 intelligence at lvl 36, it should certainly be enough to hit multiplier points?

Crit strikes can do 3x of base weapons. I'd even say more than that. My ninja could crit 4240 with 190 str, 134 dex and 247 ee sword.
