You can? Funny, I've been on for 4½ hours in the level range 48-54 and haven't had a single full group. we were 3 people groupping, grabbing, shrining, so you must be on some other secret server where it rains with LS players

The only reason why I voted no is because the LS population is too small to support an option like this. Finding cata groups atm can be difficult as it is, but then add to that the option of two completely different loot systems and I think it will be even more difficult to find groups. Obviously, some people (like myself), would join groups either way, but I think there would be a pretty large group of people on either side that would refuse to do FFA groups or would refuse to do loot roll groups.

.. This is still FFA... just that it is determined by dice roll to even out the Latency issues that alot of people have no understanding of
.. This can be turned on or off... it will be personal preference based on drivers... this keeps the FFA for those that want it
.. Specific "Evil Presence" on/off switch is by far a great solution for those that camp... and I can see 99% of LS using that feature
.. Cata groups... If people biatche about it being on... that is their loss if they do not join... at certain times there are stuff all on anyway

I haven't voted... I agree 100% that it is a good add... especially for people that are in different countries (like myself in New Zealand)

Having the ability to turn it on/off would further divide the community... I for one would never play in a game with those that wanted this turned on and would rather solo and HAVE ALL THE DROPS TO MYSELF and not have to listen to ppl bitching about how their internet is bad and they missed a drop bc they lagged. Shit happens, deal with it. Some ppl just are faster clickers then others. It happens but it doesn't mean Paul needs to change the game based on your Internet Speed.

To all of you who say it will just complicate the game:

If this idea IS implemented, you will not be forced to use it, as it is an OPTION.
I seriously don't see what the big deal is here.
I think the idea still needs to be worked on, as lag will still be an issue when it comes to only having two seconds to roll (therefore making this entire idea pointless), but with a bit more thought put into it I'd love to see it implemented.

Just gonna null my vote for now, but I thought I'd give my two cents as well.

Because some will want it and some won't, thus splitting the community... also, it will slow the game down and only complicates the current system.

Well then... just make a game and drive the catagroup if you do not want it switched on... bloody simple aye.
If you want to Arena... then go Arena... bloody simple aye
If you do not want to join a group because it has it turned on... then do not join and make your own group... bloody simple aye
If you want to have a shit... then go have a shit... bloody simple aye

I do not see it dividing a small community... look at some of the things that have already been changed, but the community sticks to it... only a select few leave... and because they can not handle the changes... but once again... some of them come back.

FYI Lag and Packet Transfer Latency are TWO different things...
The server does not lag like people think it does...
It is the Latency of packet transfer from server (to) your computer location and (from) your computer location (to) the server.

I personally think, that the ONLY thing that splits up the community... is based on the individual.
If that person does not like it and they do not participate... then that is upto them...

It is that way already... some people prefer Arena and does not do Cataruns...
On some ocassions they will aid a fellow guildy and join... but 99% of the time... they won't

I am uncertain if it will cause problems to the current system... and Paul has mentioned in a previous post that he has some updating to do... and the NEW system configurations need adjusting to the old one now... that is why some additions are taking some time to deal with.
