Lotsa Mana, hm equip and a decent heal charm. I don't cata alot, but when I do this is the basic setup I use.
As far as the best healer. I believe CyberPunkie can be an expert here...LOL

I roll my monk on the damage side with a bunch of hm/max mana. But yeah, if you have 4 other strong melee in this game or maybe even 1 other hybrid. You roll so fast that you never run out of mana.

Mana Pool and Ofc, Amount of Heal. They're some that make me completely at ease as well

Always try to keep your mana and your expierence around the same.Meaning if you are @ 70% exp(30% from level) you want to have ATLEAST 30% mana left.

The charms are a significant part but not as much as people think.You can have a decent charm(within 5-10 levels of your current level) and still able to have your exp and mana around the same.

The HM is where its at.I really start healing around level 10.
In my opinion a SEXY healer is the most expensive character to play (no matter if its mage,pally,monk etc..etc)
The best HM gear in my opinion is HM with a little INT.

All this forum gold I have is from me selling HALF of my Healer gear.There is still another 15k or so worth of items to sell so be sure you are willing to spend a little cheese on healer gear.The best part is though that healer gear doesnt really lose value.

i like my hybrid. i had some catas 55-71 with 2 other guys and 4-5 td´s and it worked fine

not really impressed by any of these healers, healing isn't based on the 'best gear around'. And pretty certain that they all have nice gear, although not sure if any of those have 'the best heal gear'
