Nice guide! Except for the slow attacking part, I've been trying this but no luck on my part so far due to the 'fish' getting numerous attacks in one, for some reason.

Slight update to your guide. Fish don't increase in life at level 5 fish, you need to have a proficiency of level 5. I've been fishing level 5 fish and still get max life/mana = 50.

I don't think Autism started getting the next tier until he was 5 in his proficiency.

I stand corrected. I just caught an 87 life fish at level 5 with 2.5 proficiency. First one in .5 skills which is alot of fish, weird.

Maybe the higher your proficiency, the better chance for you to catch a life that yields more life/mana.

Sounds like good advice, will put this to use the next time I decide to pick up the rod and cast a line.
