Just need some more updates to increase enthusiasm to the game... starting with Phone users and more things to do.
Toggle on/off Objectives (per objective or all) ... gives the player the choice (solo) as for group... open to Default (all) or Toggle
There was PVP. Multiple times. Game had PVP at the start even. In fact, you could bet fg on duels. I made thousands low level dueling. Then again, back then, a solo climb was still possible in around 45 minutes to an hour with decent enough gear.
Paul intentionally made solo slow, shitty, and 1000x more difficult and 1/1000th as rewarding, and removed pvp, to try to force players into team play.

I did play around in 2007. Intrasiege insisted on it ... wasn't to my liking, did not appeal, and I meant in appearance and flow. What was it, static play style then, oh and my isp wasn't fast either... Broadband then. Stayed with D2 LoD, of course got the boot for not playing LS, what a joke guild then.
Guildless, around v1.15, checked it out because of a friend, solo'd it hardcore only, did not ask for advice, liked it and got hooked on Profs and ranks, still Prof hunting, but earned my Guild points after reaching Rank 10 without a single Master Quest under my belt.
I have always been more of a prof hunter instead of a GP hunter, yet I made my 2k + and met goals, ranks deaths and now Heavy Weapon Prof hunting:
Proof is in the pudding even after many deaths and deleted characters ... I can not use Longswords on any character above Paladin, so why bother:

Mages in the past were the OP classes for Chains and welling ... nerfed
Dex was the only stat that gave more damage and critical strikes ... nerfed
Life Steal was the be end all end for melee classes ... nerfed
Colloseum was good for fun PvP and testing ... removed.
Spam eating fish/comfrey got an action penalty of 1 sec ... nerfed
Solo'ing Catacomb meant 1-9 monster spawn ... nerfed
Heal Mastery ... nerfed.
Well removed from town for chains and solo speed runs ... nerfed
Profs from Well (chaining) got nerfed and had a player banned for 30 days, Prof Ranks reduced from 20's. and now why we have from 0-10 prof points per wave.
Damage Return exploit got removed
Catacomb changed, improved and made game easier:
Beginning, you could not leave a group run or have a player die.
You could not go to town and Shrine.
You had to remake group and have all players start a fresh catacomb even if you cleared it.
Group had to have 1-5 level range of driver.
Could not pass lead.
Now catacombs made game easier, you can shrine, have different level characters join group for either runs, welling or trading, you can have Objective characters make group (be the driver and enter cata to activate) ... pass lead and re-enter with another character. Bridging is no longer a thing that helped link different players with different levels to form a group run. Woot, much easier now.
Oh, Cast charms got improved also, reduced mana cost, remember the old days in group runs and what "OOM" meant? Who does that now ... it is not a concern now since you can shrine in town... so the game is easier than the old days.
The game is easier because Drop Rate got increased: twice.
Tier Drop vs character level restriction improved. Used to have a set 10 level higher than Tier drop item... example: Character level 15 to ensure Tier I, II, III & IV's to drop.
/set easy 1 or 0 made it easier to play.
Abilities made game easier (even though nerfing TwoHitBack & DoubleStrike to 2 or more mob on screen)
Whistle dixie all day long is easy as pie, no more spinning on one slot.
The game is easier, yup, imagine if some of the nerfs didn't happen now? Heal Mastery... woat more 101 runs solo & group, same with Life Steal... yay, what about well still being in town and chaining, awesome, better drops, faster runs and faster Prof gain. Saturated gear and cheaper prices for items on SC.
The game is easier... some nerfs I hated, Monster Difficulty was one of them, Heal Mastery was another.
