I agree with you wholeheartedly. It should be an ongoing fight just like when u disconnect from catacombs. It has always been that way but the problem has been that the UI disappears and u can't jump back into the skill so u just auto lose the item.

It would be nice to disconnect + reconnect and possibly get to finish that glyph or mute or suffusence before its too late. :hail:

Ya, it should have always been an on-going fight, but since it is not can we return the damn item then?
It is infuriating to disconnect and re-connect within seconds only to know your item was destroyed.


Start Transmuting an item, REFRESH your browser forcing a disconnect, as long as you have not hit Stabilize or Transmute first. Your item gets returned... is this different?


Are people going to exploit this by refreshing if they are close to Failing their Skilling progress? Maybe, but what does it actually matter, they just have to start over again with the item.

How about the suggestion to make the game good? Losing your item becouse of server issues should not even be suggested it should be fixed. Pause/no pause fix some trash game design ty! <3

Nono andreas is right. It should just continue as an ongoing fight. After u reconnect u just start clicking again.

I am positive bro and direct. Some people try to argue about a feature suggestion for skilling and they did not even skilled a single item in their life. They should not even vote as they are clueless.

I vote NO UNLESS... there is a method that 1006's or disconnects can ALSO keep drops from killing monsters prior to the kill of a monster and a 1006?

How should I explain this better.

3 monster spawn... I kill off 1 monster get a Tier I, I am killing off the 2nd monster and just on the killing blow... I get a "disconnect" from a 1006, however, I only have 1 monster left and 0 items in my inventory... including the Tier I from the first monster I killed?

WTF ... I lost the failed Tier I drop... killed the second monster (no experience gained on XP bar) and no notification of any drops from the 2nd monster and there is only 1 monster remaining out of the 3 monsters that spawned etc???

Oh... you want to know something interesting... after a 1006... you keep your Ability % in the catacomb after killing etc... wo WTF... you think skilling is just faulty... really... fucking one and close minded thinking on this suggestion without noticing the TRUE EFFECT of A 1006 and disconnects.

First of all, one thing doesn't depend on the other. Even if Njag did help skilling out here without affecting the drops on disconnect that's still a win for everyone.

The window for losing an item from a disconnect is like 1 or 2 seconds. The window for losing an item while muting on a disconnect is like 3-8 minutes depending on your rank.

Bigger the font doesn't mean your opinion is more valid.

Remember when I came into your suggestion and voted "yes" because it was a good idea that would be good for the community as a whole? You should've done the same here because it is indeed a good idea that will breng many active players QOL. There's no reason to vote no for this suggestion unless you're trolling, trouble making, envious, or worried it would benefit transmuters which could diminish the value of your gear over time.


Edit: Also, We don't need all or nothing mentality here. Either we get everything we want or i vote "no". Suggestions are a process. Deciding what to add and how is a process. Coding the game is a process. Testing the game is a process. If this got implemented it's just a stepping stone to your own idea which would put u 1 step closer. Try to think at least 1 step ahead.

You don't skill either so once again your opinion is worth far less on this issue than many others. I'd like to see someone who is an actual skiller (which is like half the community) vote no to this suggestion. No one would do that.

On top of all this I do believe some people just voted no because they dont like me :Rofl: . Next time we'll get someone else to make the big suggestions :D .

Anyway, Njaguar and Kevin can see all the trolls who voted no and in the end it's their decision if this is a viable idea and gets implemented.

You do realize that a "1006" is a loss either skilling or an item dropped from a monster and appeared in your Inventory since you clicked it and you still lose it?

Where does your 8 minutes come into your suggestions of 1006's or disconnects vs any other thing I mentioned? So I bolded and enlarged my point of view... it was based on a simple fact... why should Skillers get MORE privilege to keep their item compared to DROPS from monsters in the Drop Box when a 1006 happens?

Your suggestion is nice, but one sided... don't like my response... just think about it more, and then when a 150%+ EE level 55 item drops in your drop box and you get a 1006 and return and that item does not appear... don't make a suggestion to fix it... you have just been told here and now. Fix it for both situations instead of Skilling.
