Not precisely true.

An overspawn is an item that has mods outside its normal level range, whether +1 or more tiers outside itself.

Magic luck increases the chances to get higher stat levels on the spawn over what is rolled, but only up to what could maximally roll. Overspawns were disabled many years ago (10?).

With the next version, I'm tentatively going to allow Magic luck to give you a chance at an overspawn again.

Also, with all these updates, are there any plans to upgrade the servers? I feel with these updates, it will attract more slashers and old slashers alike. So more players I would assume more stress on the servers would cause more lag? I have no idea how that all works but Id just hope we would still be able to enjoy smooth gameplay.

There's little chance it'll overrun the server it'll be on. From my initial stress tests before I started down this path it seemed to support 50k simultaneous connections no problem (I didn't push it past that). Even the current server LS is on never even came close to any degree of utilization.

Having more magical tiers and potential overspawns means a hell of a lot more in the middle, which means a hell of a lot better drops than now !
