Since LS and jsp are fully connected and have the same rules, I'd consider a char name equivalent to a topic title .. same kind of idea, and now in game language is monitored for excessive cursing (kind of like in post) .. so it's all just in line with what the rules already state. This was perfectly fair and as it should be anyway.

Titles are open and everyone can easily see them, whereas characters can only be seen if someone takes the time to look at them through your profile.

As a side note, Blizzard is not appologetic when they rename your characters in WoW, and those are paying customers. Some food for thought. Many other games just completely disable your character, no chance for anything else. I'm starting to regret not just deleting them all indisciminately.
