imo it needs to be redone all new gear listed in case shit has been shrined and new owners and hasnt been fixed .
also the "rules" are wacked for some of them like hm not counting for some hybrid gear considering when people want hybrid gear they tend to want a healing mod and a stat mod.
"dual" stats would be a more proper term imo for str/dex/int charms combined.

How do you compare 40str/40dex to 40str/40hm. If I was playing hybrid I would take the first charm, depending on weapon ratio of course, and you might take the second.

There are 3 pure types of characters:

1. Melee
2. Caster
3. Healer

Note that number 1 and number 2 both have mana, and can both heal, regardless of any optimization taken. Further, under both the melee and caster category, there is a "Tank" subcategory. For optimal tanks, you may have int pumped up on melee, or vita on caster. That does not make you a hybrid. It makes you a tank.

To be truly "Hybrid" as just melee w/heal, you must be attempting to truly optimize for healing AND melee. An armor with say 20 dex and 20 hm will not do as well for such a char as say a 25/25 strength/intel armor would for a caster/melee hybrid, especially seeing as that caster/melee hybrid may well have a heal charm as well, which the int will add benefit to.

Try to forget about your "cookie cutter" form of build, and understand that things are a bit more diverse, and there are a few more build types than you give credit for.



sensation_white's robe is clearly better for a hybrid. 30 int, 5 dex, 21 strength = 56 stats that effect the power of hybrid builds. Further, melee, heal, AND cast are all effected. 20dex+29hm = 20 stats + 29 heal mastery. Only melee and heal have any form of power boost. Even assuming HM is given as much strength as stats? Your chain is not as good.

Pull up your big girl panties and deal with it.

I do agree that the "terminology" should be better clarified, this topic is quite confusing. If it were up to me I would scrap the whole thing and start over, but of course that is a giant pain in the ass. Dont get me wrong, I can see this was a lot of hard work and it is appreciated by the community, but there are so many "loopholes" right now that it becomes difficult to even TRY to rank an item that has more than one stat, regardless if it is dex or heal mastery or intelligence or what.


Maybe use the people that vote on items to better clarify how things should be ranked. Just my two cents, not that it's welcomed. Reported myself for being off topic.




e: Also, given the latest patch, half of these items are not nearly as good as they once were, and the whole thing should be looked at again. The dynamics of items has changed quite a bit.

idk about you but when i go hybrid i want good dmg and heals not one more than the other...

it's dex/hm btw you gonan get a str/dex charm for a staff character?? i think not.
now you gotta think about the ratios too before you decide what charm you would really use




Who the hell said it matters what type of " hybrid" you are making I'm just talking about a " hybrid section" in general. There Could be many different combinations with str/dex/int/hm.
