Yeah, that would be crazy, he has ~46k kills. Nic has ~32k kills, and Nic has loads of prof

I don’t think it would ever be possible to calculate it with how prof becomes harder to gain the higher you go. I’m guessing that it should be somewhere north of 55 though

yeah it's hard to calculate the exact number of prof he would have since like u say its harder to get prof the higher level you get etc
but there are always some people with to much sparetime and do things like this or weird/awesome videos
lets just say it would be high AF if all those kills would be on one character

Yup, way harder to calculate since prof gain is based on per wave. Welling also has a major increase to prof gain compared to encountering a Wave.

Basically if you well 100 items = 100 monster (waves) kills & 10 hits per kill (excl heal actions), you can gain 0-10 prof points per kill.
MultiStrike or Cast vs 9 mob wave basically gives you 90% higher chance to get 1 prof point for that wave... so if you kill all 9 in 1 hit, that is 9 kills to 1 prof point.

EDIT: unless that has changed in the last 2 updates... which I did not see anything mentioned.

Not true at all, if you actually try a full group and check ur prof before hitting (1 hit on all 9) u sometimes get 2-3 points aswell
(AND THAT's ALWAYS BEEN THE CASE)

Not taking into account prof caps/penalties etc, but rather just adding the total prof points (ie level 18 prof = 18k + 17k + 16k + ... + 2k + 1k etc)...

Mr Rick would be at level 76 sword prof, 61% of the way to level 77

And it would be damn near impossible to calculate it if you had to take into account all the deaths.

for one thing - you would have to know how far along to the next lvl you were,
because the closer you were to achieving the next prof level, the more prof you lost when you died

Also - the higher the char class, the more brutal the prof loss

Well talking about ricks prof they would most likely still be ~rank 18-22 or something.

He has 1 character that he plays far more than others, and if he would have stayed with just the one, he wouldnt really have had much more at all (unless he would have reset a few times on his own to make himself down to feeder again)
He would have been stuck on WL / HH & Alch for 100s of climbs ea season instead of playing new mules for easy gp's.

In any case, it does not solve the issue about how to calculate Monster Kills to Rank (prof points) with only RANDOMLY getting 0-3 prof points vs 9 monster wave killing in 1 hit... there are still 6/9 kills that got 0 prof points.

Closest way to get an estimate is most likely taking notes of your total monster kills & prof points in that weapon/cast charm before doing a full Group MQ climb, then take the total after the climb to see the amount you got. But this does not calculate prof gain previous this update.

Here is a comparison based on two(2) of my toons: (Damn don't want to compare it with Paparicks, this is only a small sample)

Bufcore (iZZi) Kills: 31,157 MQ Attempts: 7 = 81,000 prof points (round down)

Monk (DDAwe) Kills: 27,667 MQ Attempts: 7 = 26,000 prof points (round down)

Both HC toons and have never been through a Ladder Reset.

That's a few months old. If Rick only played 1 char, it would be too complicated to count correctly, but I'm almost sure he'd be in the top 3
