Trapdoors and treasure chests are working.

Got side-tracked and tweaked the drop algorithm a bit more to better take into account "difficult" monsters to give better drops. Seems to be working nicely, frequently finding tier 3 equipment at level 6 as a new character. Feels very playable, fun, and rewarding for a new person coming in with nothing (which the dev server is, was completely wiped).

Does this mean that a lvl 30 character can find lvl 55 gear if it goes through the trap door!?

Erm, maybe I confused you guys. The trapdoor and chest bit was completely different from the second sentence. The two are not related. Trapdoors already allow drops @ the mob level in them. Nothing changed regarding that.

Wait did I read this correctly that the server is being wiped and everyone starts out with no gear and lvl 1?

Goodness, no. The development server is wiped for testing this new version, so I have to find all my gear, so it's a perfect test as a "new player".
