so so so much misinformation in this thread
no one has even got past rank 4 and you guys are already trying to figure out how muting is gonna play out in the end when nobody except paul knows that for sure
all these threads do is try to scare people with very uninformed information

What does this tell me?
Even at the best conditions (15 points per mute, no failures, and only 15 seconds per each mute) it will take approximately 596 hours of game play to be able to be able to mute magical lvl 55 items again. In other words if you would play 4 hours a day every day and get peak conditions (not likely) it will still take ~150 days to reach lvl 65. A more accurate assumption would be somewhere around 5-7 points per mute and 30 seconds leaving you with 2128 hours of game play needed or 531 days at 4 hours a day.
*Lastly this does not take into account the time it takes to find the mutes or the fg it will cost the buy the mutes.
Let me know what you think and if you have any questions.
actually those arent even the best conditions, 15 pts per mute is what u get at rank 2, and if the early levels have anything to say, as you rank up you will gain more pts per successful mute so again the only thing that will take any time in muting will be finding the actual items needed
for example
rank 0 muting = .5% of lvl per successful mute (magicals that is rares give 1% of lvl, but after rank 0 all the items give the same amount of exp which is .5% of the lvl per successful item)
rank 2 you need 3000 pts to lvl up, but again u get .5% of the lvl per successful mute which is 15 pts at rank 2, so as you can see the points have absolutely nothing to do with lvling up in rank proficiency as its all about getting that key 200 successful mutes to rank up
so while yes the pts needed to pass a mute goes up, so does the pts earned per successful mute in the end evening it out
so sorry to say but all the calculations u did were for nothing
