I'm a new player looking for tips/ guidance as well. Watched some tutorial vids and read some threads. Just created a Fighter and bought a weapon, armor and charm. Not sure how great they are but they were fairly cheap.

i tried ls in the past but not for more than a few minutes. i've played the last hour or so and am starting to get into it... havin trouble at times and still learnin

never knew that wells were significant, i came across one and just kept going after getting a couple fish lol
