Imo this is pauls way of removing muting without actually removing it... sure, eventually some will be able to mute lvl 10 items but i honestly dont see people sticking with this long enough to get much higher than that unless paul changes the muting profs.
I think this is a great update for SC and this is an answer to everyones cry about the influx of GG items and the decrease in prices and decrease in demand. Those who were bitching about their items losing value in SC and are now bitching about not being able to mute i have NO sympathy for you.
What sucks about this update is this effectively killed most of HC. Why risk everything 20k worth of gear when you have to way to replenish it? I play this game to make fg from it... call me greedy but i think a lot of other ppl out there play this game because its fun, addicting, and a way to make fg and improve your items... now that muting has "changed" *cough (removed) I see no reason to play HC and find little ambition to play SC either.

But ur guild has the same dedication to the guild as mine does... those people who trust each other and willing to support each other can make it go faster for them

Ofc you can all do as individuals and go slower and be competeing over the same items

Solutions, or maybe pulling anything out of your ass you can to try and make this seem like its not so bad.

You would have loved season 5 on sc! Back when the monsters did godly crits and unless you were a select few, mqs took weeks to complete with pretty solid gear. There were no drops with numbers greater than 2 on them. Muting and welling was pretty much worthless.

At least this season you still have a chance to find gear if you solo through and well. You can gain proficiency and complete levels in a timely manner. I had a huge muting collection on sc and a decent one going on hc, but I really didn't care that it got nerfed. No biggie, I just did that for fun on the side.

Vouch, there's almost no point to the Arena anymore with these updates.

Damn, I was only gone last night but did something happen to the arena? Why in the world would it get removed? Whats wrong with it? my arena

I have to agree with WT this time

I solo 99% of the time and only join catacombs if absolutely neccessary...and muting was fun

I was like the other guy in the arena something drops and i go to check to see if i have to match for it....now thats gone and I don't have time to sit and mute for an hour a day.


and now i hear the catacomb drops have increased...sure thats fine if you happen to catacomb.




e/ I am not taking a break...and like a trooper i stuck all my muteables on the mp..but it still sucks..


Just eliminate the arena allready if thats where the game going...then people like me can find something else to do with my spare time instead of slashing.

i'm just curious. say a few people actually do this and go all the way to 65 prof or whatever the highest is. what's the reward? you mute a lvl 55 magical sword with a lvl 55 magical essense and PROVIDED the mute is successful (70-90% chance, meaning you could still lose the item) you get back an ultimanium sword with +1 to extra item slots (or maybe +25 ee if you get really really lucky)?
