A fellow d2jsp user and I were discussing an issue earlier that I thought was pretty comical. He thought that it would be a good idea to make the Ladder Slasher subforum "Read Only" until you complete a Master Quest.

I told him I was indifferent because I'm part of this club, what does everyone else think?

Nothing pompous about it, think about it. The guiides are there, they've been there. The people who know all about the game and help people everyday are still here, there will always be more and more of them that learn about it and want to help other people, they're not going anywhere.

No more stupid questions. No more bullshit spam. No more inane bickering by people who have no real intention to play that are just here to cause drama and trouble because they don't have anywhere else to go or that they'd rather go. Doesn't sound so bad to me. I know I'd still answer the 50 PMs I get a day if people didn't post their threads and I answer those that I see.

Honestly Jay, I hate to say it, but it's a rather stupid idea.

Some of the shit posted might sound stupid to you or I, but the point of being a "Community Leader" isn't to restrict the community, but to help guide it.

Frankly, I'm rather suprised you'd even entertain such a strange notion.

I'll discuss and/or challenge any idea if the mood strikes me, it's just another option that has positives and negatives. I wouldn't care to see it implemented any more or less than if it wasn't, I just thought it was interesting.

I've done my Master Quest. I'll be here until the game deletes me.
