I have something that you will never achieve in this forum

Please I've achieved what you have in 1/4 the time. Everyone fucking hates both of us.

the mindset is 1 problem and the noob-friendlyness of the game the other.
1 part can be fixed and we try to find some solutions for this part.

invest your energies in finding possibilities to solve this and not to spam or rage about new peoples mindset.

There is no problem with newb friendliness. I just see a bunch of crybabies QQing cuz shit doesn't come easy and requires effort.

Ladder Slasher isn't a real game. In order to survive in LS, you have to have forum gold and get gear or just be a fucking luck box.

The game today is harder than ever to make fg but at the same time the game is so easy.

I started this game 3 years ago when HC came out I started with no fg. I used to go Lord Ballak up in this bitch.

And the problem why most people can't make fg, is that hardly anyone knows how to manage their forum gold. And people are so scared to use other methods to make forum gold because you think it's so bad you might have to do something else to supply something else.

I will agree it is harder than ever to make forum gold to support yourself by just playing ls, but you need to adapt to the situation and manage fg better and sell the right stuff to the right people and if you need more fg, find alternative means to get more fg. Start running bots on d2, play poker, do some bets.

And to say TJ hasn't helped the community is bullshit. The HC community is small, like probably only about 30-50 people who will slash actively a little bit.

TJ sells random crap he gets ahold of and there has been a few instances where he helped a few people because he thought they had the capabilities to stick with it and improve.

And TJ isn't one of the people who think you can buy your way into the game. He hates Jamal because that is what Jamal does. TJ puts in effort into this game and sadly when you think about it, this game is fucking easy.

I don't hate jamal though, I actually like him. I wish I hated him cuz he's the worst fucking slasher of all time.

I know man, I was just stating you know how it's a drag for you to play with him.

And if anyone wanted to claim someone is bad for HC, they probably should be looking at me and jamal.

You are so wrong. To invigorate a market you must give free fgs to multiple players that will buy themselves items to play with. In fact you were just a black hole that pulls items into its singularity and will not sell them again. What do you expect that I just get myself 1000 bottles of wine and slash like a mad man just to find a godly item becouse TJ will buy it? There were players in the past that even payed more then you and we don't work just becouse you are able to buy items. You buy them becouse you want to be good at a game and as some of humans do, you think to be good at something you must pay for it. If you pay for a game it does not mean you are good at it, it means you just have an advantage.

sorry, couldn't let this go by without a comment. There is no advantage, everyone is capable of paying if they choose to.

might be hard for you to believe with your 160k, but not everyone can whip out a credit card to get fg and pay for nice items right off the bat...they have to slowly grind and sell things 1fg at a time or get lucky and find something nice to sell early
the people that can have an advantage

Bow down to the owner of the best LS Item ever. I fucking envy you man. It amazes how well people let you troll them.

Wtf are you going on about?

Arena... nothing better for people who can't do a full climb cause of time restrictions, to just have a coffee and kill a few monsters in arena (or in a well).
Now with everyone wanting to do 1-71 afap, as Lee explained, it has become pathetic.
Arena was perfect for us older people with responsabilities :p

It is not just you "older people" who have time restrictions...

Arena was perfect for anyone who didn't want to sit and play this game for two hours straight, period.

We could re-introduce a few contests -- such as the once-popular MQ raffle, and restrict participation to players who have started to play within a certain time frame.

Most of you remember how it ran -- once a player reached MQ, he was assigned a raffle number, and at the end of the week  5 numbers were drawn for an equal split of the prize fund.

The fund was totally supported by donations from the LS community.

I ran these before, with some success, and I would not mind doing it again.

The only drawback that I see here is the speed at which players ( even new ones) reach MQ due to the 2-hour cata-races that have become the main mode of play.

The raffle# list would probably be filled on the first or second day, and boredom would set in waiting for the prize draw.

This crap again? I see no difference between a person who has been slashing for a while or some new scrub. Why should someone who has actually put time into this game, not be qualified to win...?

That's my opinion on what the real problem is.  Deal with it.

Boner achieved.

We all know what the real problem is -- I suggest you look in the mirror for an example

 if some of the elite jsp members did that sir --- they would STILL be unable to see the problems --- their ego's would still be in the way

tj and a few others are insistent their opinions count and constantly post them over and over again --- even when people obviously dun appreciate or want their spam/troll/qq's :stonetoss:

buying up items is not supporting the community --- especially when on HC one good item can encourage a player --- you stole most of the inspiration imo :P

on topic --- posts about advertising is interesting but not as important as getting the owner of the game/site to be more responsive to his community

Someone is just mad Joshie and Sigma89 stole guild gear and created non-entity of a guild called Asylum.

TJ is a constant a problem for the community and top troll.

another d2 guild troll making great points --- more elitist banter --- nonsensical ofc --- and ofc trolling me

Quote (Braxton11 @ May 11 2011 06:27am)
Do you even know what trolling means...?

Seriously bro, you just make yourself look bad.

and the biggest wanna be troll  gl on trying to get on the bandwagon --- always the trolls when i post lub it

Someone is just mad his guildies gave up or stole all his gear and created a guild called Asylum.

TJ is not a problem for the community.

The problem is as TJ has stated, people cannot adapt to the game because they are stuck in the past.

Take control of your ls career and make the proper adjustments to strive.

And if you don't like it anymore and it isn't fun, just stop playing or decrease the amount you play and find something else to do.

Like play LoL, that is what I do now.
