starting at 47 today.. prob not too much slashing today.. its been in the 90's for like 3 strait days .. looks like it will be that way for 3 more days too LOL... been doing alot of fishing/swimming with the kids

Well... I'm level 12. Casting is ridiculously hard, even at low level, with no gear. http://forums.d2jsp.org/user.php?c=3&i=283157&p=380334

The first time I ever played this game I got to 18 much much quicker as a rogue and I didnt buy any gear back then either. Now I'm struggling to get each and ever kill. Sometimes I have no chance, as I constantly hit zeros. Thats what I get for using ice, instead of using the superior element lightning(superior with no EE because of high end hits overcoming enemy armor). Other times I hit for 10-15 and have to use ~200 life worth of fish because I cant waste a mob that I can actually do damage to and gain experience. I estimate my ice prof to be around 6-7 by the time I hit 30, so I'm trying my best to stick with it.

The ONLY good item I found so far happened to be an earth charm that I'm very very temped to say forget ice and use it for the time being. Its a T3 Magical Earth with 10ee. I know it would make things easier, but wasting prof points might hurt me in the long run. If you notice tho, I'm still using a T2 Ice. So we'll see. I've also yet to find a T3 robe of any kind, white or magical.

definitely go with the earth
you'd need like, 25 prof to make the 2 equal in damage

Ya but I mean down the road when I find a 55 charm I could have 10 or more profs in a single element

im sry but i agree with shsheik i think the earth would serve you better if your going for mq with out rerolling

if you plan to reroll then sure stick with the same item

as you see with ballak it isnt easy to find the exact type of weapon,charm you desire so inless you reroll and try again its best to accept anything that comes your way

yup.. was going to say that.. if your going to try to go strait up the ladder.. just use the best you find.. remember to hold onto EVERY regen item you can untill you upgrade it..
if you go strait up.. you might have 5-7 proph in 1 thing.. IF you get lucky and find that 1 type of item all the time.. otherwise.. you will have like 3-5 proph in everything LOL.. i honestly like useing a bit of everything.. that way.. the char is rounded.

gl again on casting.. i personally think it will be VERY hard with junk gear we find along the way.. BUT... some people are very lucky and get those illusive xxx ee drops in the very first climb.. gl with that though LOL.

tell ya what.. im getting PWNT hard .. but i will keep slashing.. might have to run 20+ times per kill.. but oh well.. DEATH TO THE MOBS!!!!

edit.. the difference between lvl 49 and lvl 50 .. seems to be like 50 lvls.. no kidding.. im really taking a beating now.. was doing ok at 49.. very odd how hard 1 lvl up can make it
