That is kinda sexy for HC and any event that has +X% EPs. I believe the monster cap is level 50, thus you may get Tier XiV items near the completion of the map. Being like around level 48-50 on the last few squares of the maze from one of the maps.

Tell me something I don't already know. Using that map during an event with +X% EPs just mean more chances to find more medium to high level whites or a great item... better than creating the map and only encountering 21 EP waves, you may encounter 22 EP waves with 100% more EPs in that case.

It wouldn't be100% more though its 20ep on top of double the base maps EPs. If the base map has 5 EPs total it now has 10 + 20. It would be a waste to pop a nice EP map during a plain old ep event. If you don't have a stat drop or item quality event active you're not getting much extra.

What's more is that map is definitely going to have more that 20ep total regardless of the event, those are added in addition to what the map already spawns.

The way you're referring to it seems like you are under the impression the number of EPs in the ep spawn is increased rather than the number of ep map event which is actually the case.
