Everytime i see this thread i lol... being on the first hc climbs when you had no choice but to "buffcore" cause shit wasnt available even if you wanted it... you can MQ with at lvl 25 white if youre determined enough.. its been done

Bufcore reminds me of the "HC" we did on SC before it was officially put in the game, those were good times. I forget who (edit: pretty sure it was ) kept track of best drops, peoples ranks and such all in a thread - he put a lot of work into it

They stop healing themselves eventually, I personally would have stayed there and killed it off.

In my last run @ level 46 I finally go Treasure Pest, multiple strikes and Life Steal... I was using level 40 battleaxe (no EE), 25 armor and a 7x lvl20 reg heal... TPs life steal would basically heal my damage I was dealing, so it seemed pointless to even continue on because each pixel I removed, it would hit and replenish those pixels (not quite all of them)... so I changed my tactics... attack, use Retribution (I like this ability), used it at 50% or more (depending on my hit points) and then instantly go to town (luckily it did not heal either)... regen to full life, repeat and rinse.

Basically I eventually killed TP, it could not heal while I was in catacomb, so it was easier to take chunks out.


Anyway... again it is up to you, I personally don't mind it, that is because it is up to you.

I have decided not to split my main bufcore char and muter and will from now on use skiller and bufcore char in same char.

Now I really should put even mlre care to it!

I did this when I began playing HC years ago with my main character(s) at the time. Also muting is a good idea for a bufcore character to help increase you chance(s) of finding better gear.

Nothing dropped other than whites for a well, not even items from any if any Evil Presence.

Got a chaint mail lvl 30 with 32 dex!

My monk died. Totally my fault.
3 ep wave at level 52 or 53, one was pawfulgore.

Actually kinda glad I didn't have to suffer through all the way to 77 again XD.

Will be back next HC season with a new char.
