so? is that true? and if yes which prof affects the stacks? fishing or cooking?
Havn't been able to figure it out yet, getting mixed opinions and no facts from people so I won't say until I know for sure.
As far as the drop-rate question of solo vs groups, I can give a few educated opinions.
More items drop in a full group, but you are also killing monsters faster, spawning more items at a more rapid rate. The actual rate is unknown to anyone except Paul and it is very random.
When Welling (Dark Pooling) in a full group, you will almost always get more side-drops from a single item (except after level 70) than you would by yourself or with a 2 person group. 3+ seems to be ideal. I have had 12 side drops come from a single item in a full group, and have not been able to reproduce that in any groups that were not full, nor by soloing. Most I got from a solo well was 7.
When you solo, you have the opportunity to keep all the drops. While in a group, you obviously do not. Some guilds/friends have drop-rotations or can be good-mannered with drops, and some are cutthroats. It is up to the individual to determine what is best for them, and be aware that just because something drops does not mean you will be guaranteed the item if playing with others.
