hey, I need help with what to do with my stat points..

I have a Guardian level 9 on hardcore, but havent placed any points or skill points yet, can anyone help me?

Depends on whatever weapon(s) you end up finding/using. You'll want a good amount of vit probably 80-100 depending on the heal/armor you use, salvation is really strong for solo esp guardian since its a blue ability (less points to charge faster). Powerstrike probably your best bet early then after some points in this go salvation.

Club/Warhammer/Longsword = Str
Spear/Polearm = Dex
Battle Axe = Str or Dex

Hi I'd strongly recommend switching to a barbarian for the first class who has access to more weapon types and better stats/abilities for your first character. There are a couple of cheap axes on the market place that should help you slash your way through levels pretty quick. Enhanced effect is the most important mod on a melee weapon to improve your damage. I would also look for leathers/scales with enhanced effect to help you tank damage when soloing, especially on hardcore. You should play very safe so you don't RIP your gear. I'd suggest going to town/healing no less than 60% health until you learn the game a bit better.

If you insist on going guardian for whatever reason, I'd go with powerstrike and salvation for abilities. But you would need heal charms with enhanced effect in order to use salvation, and you'd put the heal charm in your acc slot.

I make no promises I will survive with your toys and I want to be up front that I m still learnings. But NY charity is appreciated.
I am considering switching to Softcore to better become established in HC. Anyway thanks for the consideration I need more friends too.

As a beginner to the game, with the strong investment needed in HC, especially for soloing safely, I would definitely advise starting in SC.
