With the implementation of warden into D2 in late 2005, then the modifications to attempt to prevent the lag-dupe method that caused my 200fcr light sorc to constantly get temp banned in 2006, I decided I needed something different, and tried Ladderslasher.
Within 2 months, I'd gone from a 5fg newb to a 1000fg + 5000 fg worth of gear (some of that gear worth much more now) newb.
Once they fixed it so my sorc worked again, I came to the conclusion that I despised Diablo II, and stayed with LS.
Now, according to some, I'm pro elitest. All I can say? Thank you Blizzard! Your shithole attempts to stop hacking/botting to the point where it fucks with legitimate players' games has inspired me to become the most elite newb in all of Ladderslasher. Apparently you did 1 thing right.
