First amazing looking drop when i got to level 4 in catacombs. Lvl 10 map Legendary. And it dissapeared when i hovered over it, and now it is gone?

Just started playing this game today and this is kind of disappointing is this common?

Gotta be quicker picking stuff up.

If monster(s) spawn when you hit the last square, pick up the map straight away, if not, then it won't until you move off the location.
This is common, when encountering a wave of monsters, you kill them, do NOT engage if you are looking at drops, this will give you time
to browse over the drops, maybe even switch to EES gear and pick them up and switch back before moving on.
