When using Heavy weapons &/or still using Auto Hold Attack feature, switch to charm slot (preferably a heal charm) & click door once (disables action), then Dble Click door sporadically per second until you Exit the Catacomb (I normally click the TOP of the door)

Now back to topic and a question for Paul / Kevin.

Personally I hate the two door selection for Feeder classes (yes I am crazy, I prefer the 3 door), so, will you include an "Auto Fail MQ" (yes I know it sounds stupid as fudge, just asking)

In either case, if I wanted to Auto fail feeder, this would mean with the v1.32, I would f5 out, log back in on another character and play for more than 2 hours (depending on your settings) before logging back in with the MQ character to repeat the MQ again. Is that a correct assumption?

I agree with that, but a lot of times people F5 because of lagging issues, which in sole situations are not user's side fault. Could lead to an unfair death. In my case I play with my phone by my side at 4g network, so if my wifi fails for some reason i instantly click login on phone.

Not complaining, we will adapt of course. I play hardcore because of the challenge, so let they come :)

Anyway, seems we have to stat even more vit now.

Pretty sure this does not affect the MQ.

He's referring to purposely failing your master quest to build up stat points quicker or stick to a specific class without suffering penalties.


It is a very valid point especially in relation to heavy weapons for leaving the catacombs because you do one action and you're held back.

I just died on softcore because I tried spamming fish but I had just attacked and didn't have enough time to react :rofl: . With heavy weapons u get stuck without anyhopes to escape for even longer. Also f5ing MQ's is a thing :D however if you disconnect after opening a few doors that would be nice to have those doors reopened for you and saved. had a disconnect on last door 2 seasons ago one 3 door char I think maybe 4. Was terrible because he failed the MQ right after attempting again.

Currently on my Bufcore Guardian (3 Master Quests) I did the F5 when I unlocked the first door so it would 'reset' the order from the start, thus on second attempt, the first door exploded and I failed MQ... which is what I wanted to do for my Bufcore character.

Currently mentioned by Paul in this thread, there is a 2 hour buffer (which may change at a later time) where you log back in and continue on where you last left off ... sec, finding his post.

I play the game to have fun, gain profs for weapons/charms and go up in ranks... not to unlock characters that reduce my chance to gain ranks for Heavy Weapons because of the restrictions.
