the fact is u said a 3% chance of 1,800 rerolls (1,800) that is saying close to 0...u are right on the mark

If u did 1,800 more rerolls ur 3% would be completly different...it could be 5% thats over a 50% increase

Thats because i said, its ( randomized ) we might know the odds of getting different mods, but with randomization u will get a roll just because it rolled, not by chance

I didnt even reroll any angelic> or below to know the result, u dont need extensive math to figure out the odds, but it sure does help
I didnt punch any numbers in a calculator, i just look at my results, (my results didnt change) compared to urs, with ur help...just thinking it (if u can actuly see it)
Will tell you better than putting it on paper, because we know mana regen, life regen and critical strike are very common mods..then u have ML, EES and quick draw at the bottom
It changes equations, and makes it even more complex...so u have to think out the box and use math (in ur head)...or spend alot of time rerolling 1 million times

That is because ive rerolled hundreds of mythical+ items...without writting and punching it in (tells u more about a magic reroll and then change ur views on it)
it changes the number u got (my results is exactly like urs) Just by thinking/seeing it..god can strike me if im lying, if i didnt use a calculator..and the %'s i gave

EDIT...if anyone has to ask how did it tell me more about a magic essence and why the odds change...just ask...

And i think your theory is complete nonsense as far as i can see everything has a hard tier cap now and no overspawns are possible.

Over spawns are still possible on all tiers still to this day, even tier 15 rolls on lvl55 items. If the right conditions are met to give it to a chance then the randomized chance for it to hit. Paul has verified that more than once since the departure of the old muting system and caps were put in place.

Vouch powertripped all day everyday

Possible and impossible can be a few points of probability apart
If you need 45 magic luck, a lvl 130 character and have a 1 in 5 million chance of an overspawn and it has to be off shamans, it might as well be 0% chance
I have not seen a genuine overspawn in the last 5 years.

Changes alot of you might not have noticed, that aint even noted IN a UPDATE

Transmuting is about 25% easier (not faster) ((meaning its even faster than that)) the bottom bar moves fast and its easy to control the top bar now.

Suffing...there has been about a 25+% prof increase

This is a good theory i have (and im sure it to be true)

I ALRDY EXPLAINED my theory on mods jumping tiers and mods being low but a high tier ROLL.

It is completly understandable anyone used 1,000 magic essences rerolling/expense and hard to (even get a lvl 25 item with 100ee..)
The max EE on a 25 item is 160, so u alrdy know even getting 120EE would be hard.

It is different for a lvl 55 item...the max is 280EE...jumping tiers gets a higher increase..even level 25 aint the halfway point.
BECAUSE it has a advantage of a leap over tier 4 AND under mods.

Now, why is there better items found rare+ than magic?...put ur thinking caps on when i try to explain without wasting my breath. Or get arthritis in the hand i BEAT off with.

NOW HIGH RARITY STACKING using arcane item as AN example

LETS SAY theres 10 different mods...u alrdy have a +6 PROP and JUST LIKE diablo 3, a mod can get higher WITHOUT taking away a property.
Since the essence is higher, its randomized less...instead of it SCANNING THROUGH ALL 10 mods it can roll ANOTHER stat the same...AND STACK. AKA higher tier...

U gota realize, when those guys started from scratch EVEN THO they had a GREATLY high advantage compared to now...LESS mods plus TWEAKS
THEY spent a LONG time going to a certain LEVEL and master quest what was it? 61?...NO REROLLING OR CATA/GROUPS...there was only arena..so u can deduct 1 year...
The arena had garbage odds because u start FROM 0....when u start killing dozens WITHOUT towning, u get a chain symbol at the top and shows you how many u killed/stacked
Ur odds greatly increased the further u went. WHEN u town...it resets...those monsters aint NEARLY as hard as they are now, so the character stats were a little different
There was NO abilities back then...strength added damage, dex added crit chance.


Now this is ALSO a theory because DieAblo 3 does that by taking away STATS from another mod = lower mods, but the rolls are THERE and low.
Its common to see a tier 10 item with a tier 7 mod and everything else tier 2>
D3 ALSO has hidden damage from back in the day...the ring shows 15-30 damage but on the auction house it shows a MUCH higher average damage..thats because it stacked.

Yeah, that seemed a little long, but I'd just like to say something that I don't see a lot of other people saying...

Items have kept their value really well for years on this game compared to on other games. Values are indicative of usefulness... since no one's gonna pay 20k for a magical weapon with only EE if it's not still strong in the game and there are tons more like it... Well... what if Paul tweaked this game as so many players have asked for and made high level items and really nice rolls drop like crazy?

E: and back to OP because I really think it was a good one. I do want solo drops to be competitive with group drops in terms of bonuses... yet I don't see that the current system stops me from soloing

yeah tried multiple times to get into this game and consistently quit cause it feels like there's nothing going on and nothing to be had by playing it.

also why the shit do people care about the fg value of their items over the game actually have a good community? thats pretty messed up.

if you cared about your fg you wouldn't of invested in a game with such a high rate of quitters.
