that would be why everyone else's character shows level 70, and only his shows level 75 on the links

character links only update when a person goes to town or they leave the maze (I have never seen a character link get updated during the duration the entire duration a character is in the maze)

(You can do those tests yourself, get a character setup at level 1 with slot gear and get all your 1-71 gear on the character, then go 1-71 without towning), the character will not update until it goes to town at the very least


as Jamal said, that is also the only way i have seen character info get refreshed, is by going to town, logging out, or leaving the maze

so if they fail they learned nothing
if they succeed you dont have to stay in catacombs to get mm

thats why he's lvl 75 while all the rest are 70 still
