made a fighter and ive died 13 times hes lvl 23 should i start over because of my profficencies?

Hi, ive just started playing LS yesterday and i ive been reading alot about the game now so i feel i know the basics.
However there are some things i can't seem ti find info on:
#1 General LS lingo guide (people are using words i have no clue what means, and kick me from the party when i ask about it :p)
#2 I have some questions about how the smartest way to use my stat and skill points best (currently trying out fighter)

Hello, I've just started playing LS as I want to make some forum gold (and I have a half term to build up a decent character :P). I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me with a guide or any assistance with builds they could provide. I have a level 25 barbarian at the moment (completely stacked on vitality), and don't think that he is good enough at killing. I would also have some questions about the game and trading and the way the gear system works.

I would really appreciate any help that someone might be able to provide :),
