Mate I know you are trying to be nice, and I hope this doesn't come off as rude, but I purposely left all emotions out of my first post when I stated my opinions about the game. The way your post comes off is disregarding all of my opinions while quoting a fortune cookie. I'd like my opinions to matter instead of being shut down with a smile.
I'm not upset, just a note for next time since I know you were sincerely trying to be nice probably. Listening/discussing is better then saying "Forget all that stuff! Rainbows!"
I'll address this more directly for you now as my point was misunderstood. I was trying to set an example with my attitude. For me, it's the
form of what you said that needed to be addressed. Regardless of content (whichever part of the game you bring up), the point is the same: if you focus on things you cannot control and call them problems, you won't find solutions. Whether or not there's an arena, whether the Vault is free or costs a billion FG or doesn't exist, whether Paul speaks to the LS community or not ... absolutely none of it is within your control. Therefore, complaining and worrying about it solves nothing. It's actually ALL in Paul's control in this case, and if you want to help change the game, change how you approach it. It's 100% fine to make suggestions, provide contructive criticism, give feedback about changes, etc., but to put what you want to see in the form of a complaint just because you can't directly change it yourself just leads to greater misery. Try playing the game differently or bringing something new and exciting into the community. Or, if you really hate it and don't want to help build the community and potentially contribute to the game's success (and perhaps future updates), then quit.
I think you care enough to complain. The question is whether you care enough to be an example of the change you want to see in the community.
I am completely open to discussing the game but I hope you can see that if the conversation turns to being about what you think sucks about the game, I don't find it constructive. So of course I will flip it around and ask you to consider what can actually be done (by you) to improve your situation. If you would like direction about how I'd approach your concerns (in your situation), I'm all for it. But that is just to say that I am a highly skilled problem solver who happens to know almost nothing about LS.

tbh I think it would be cool if everyone just elected someone to bring together the "best of the best" suggestions from LS in a quick, easy-to-read & digest format (idea- link - five word description x each idea ... NO complaints, bitchings, etc) and have that person send the results once a month (or less often) to Paul. The right person with the right attitude and approach would surely reach him at some point. Maybe he would be willing to reply and the chosen representative could post the response to the community, but it starts with making an appropriate first step and being willing to lay the groundwork for improvement that everyone--including Paul--invites.It's unfortunate that so few people seem to care to know what Paul envisions for the game and the community. Think about the "other side"

This is the best suggestion of this thread.
I would love a monthly status update. Hell even if it's a 'sorry guys couldn't work on LS this month, blah blah blah' at least we are kept in the loop. It would be nice to get some insight to what the next update would include 'graphics update' 'experience modification' 'monster abilities' and an expected ETA of when the update would be released

:) please please please

I disagree because I don't think it's really fair to keep asking Paul to take steps to address stuff when nobody has taken the time to do what I suggest above.
