i have a suggestion and im sure it wont be the most popular but WOULD get more people interested.

if you got a certain amount of FG when passing and or failing a mq relative to gps --- like 100fg per gp or one or the other would attract people that want to start developing a decent set in hc or sc that dont want to buy fg

perhaps there could be like 20% of the mp fees would be appropriated to this or maybe its just a promo that goes on for so many weeks or months to get people addicted :P

not many options for that, not many guilds accept new players either and not guarenteed

This is an actually GREAT idea
Because all those other games (Mafia Wars, Farmville, ect...) pretty much all have them

not really sure if sarcastic but yeah, and by the end of the tutorial you got some ee/stat/whatever depending on your class and your interest (Tank/dps/heal?) you can pick what you want to be. (just for the sake of giving the appropiate item) and then you have the basics already and can get to level 5+ without hesitations. *item will be unsellable (like a white?) and you can only delete it. nothing godly or anything of course but you get the general idea. i dont know. would be interesting, never really thought about this until 5 minutes ago

like oh kill this monster recieve a magical item learn to use shrine with it etc give rewards as in armor/wep/charm teaching cata market place...

i believe that it is required to use a med for these sorts of things
still thinking of some sort of tutorial

wait a minute
this is a flash game
it can talk to u and make words appear on the screen as if by magic....

maybe it can be incorporated
that would make it more ideal for advertising sakes ?

still need stable income since gear needs to be upgraded and even useless items can become bloody expensive

sounds good for nercommers, give them the possibility to get an unwellable/unsellable blank itemset for every 5 lvls (wep/armor for melees, attack-charm and heal for mages)
at least they could help out a bit at killing, were able to solo way better then now and could even start out with 0fg.
grinding the way to the first mq with a lvl 20 wep won't keep them at this game.

Every multiplayer game needs a community.
Maybe listening to them from time to time makes the game better.
Some suggestions are just pointless, but some arn't, like the long wanted "copy and paste more from chatlog. (just an example)

It's not the intention of us to make the game more attractive. We can't change anything. It's the whole system which fucking sucks.

1) You need to convince people, that playing this game is fun
2) In order to have fun playing, you need at least medicore (if not even better) gear (This is sadly true, you cannot deny that! And new people DO realize that, because they fail at killing mobs and see their mega slow progress)
3) Gear can ONLY be purchased via Forum Gold
4) New players don't have Forum Gold
5) They give up

Let's pretend we (or Paul, HAHA just kidding) advertises on other sites and people decide to give it a try, do they in all honesty care about Guild Points? Do they really care about Fg? GPs and Fg are worthless to them. It's impossible the way it was, is and will be in future.

Forum Gold is the problem. And now the most interesting question. What is the main aim for this game? Is it really to give people fun playing..?

This makes little sense. That's like saying to a car dealer "that car has been sitting there for months, you should take my offer(maybe 1/3 of the cars value) because nobody else has bought it". If I buy an item for 20k and you want to buy it vs 3k....not happening. I would rather keep it and let it sit on my account. If it was worth 20k at one point, it may get back to that or close enough that I'd be willing to take a "small" loss. Many people think the same way. It just simply isn't worth selling at a huge loss. Only people that are desperate for forum gold would do that.

I understand how the free market works. I also know that the car dealership will laugh at you.

Hope my analogy makes sense.
