any idiot with any gear can reach MQ in cata I know this because I payed 30 fgs on my 1-71 mage setup when I first started.

Arena on the other hand requires EQ / more complex char builds if you don't want to spend forever on getting to 71.

There has to be some kind of reward for choosing the hard way.

As for my wish for 2.0: Enable auto-click for muting again (you would still have to click stabilize)

ANYTHING THAT FIXS THE MARKET. NEW PEOPLE HAVE TO HAVE A SLOW STEADY WAY TO MAKE SMALL AMOUNTS OF FG. thast wut muting gave. the reason it destroyed the market was not because u couldnt mute gg shit but because lil people couldnt sell mutes for fg and then buy gear. this is something that needs to be fixed. idk how but something PLEASE anything.

Btw regarding the caster nerff:

Has anyone even tried to use Mana syphon / mind numb / Critical Strike / Armor pierce weapons instead of plain int weaps?

i cata'd with a guardian that had a bunch of hm/mana syphon gear and the only reason we had to stop ever was to change gear and once cuz someone had to leave. that guy never ran out of mana

Yeah I know guardians with mana syphon is overpowered but I am talking about the nerff of offensive casting.

Like has anyone tried to cast in arena with items that has a combo of the stats I mentioned instead of plain int ones?

i didnt mean it was overpowered i just was making a point that people are indeed finding new ways

guardians got hit by the last update too - they used to be the ultimate tank because of their high vit / plate ability, and high int for defense against casters.

now you can have as much int as you like by the casting mobs will still shred you thanks to being restricted to plates, which have basically no magical defense.

You are still missing the point. ofc cata healers is kicking ass cuz of mana syphon buff and lower cost on charms.

I am STILL talking about offensive arena casting.
