Are you running any browser extensions that might be interfering the game?

There has been alot of ppl having these issues lately

I had this for years, still was able to get carried through mms

This was a big cause for blue screens for me while playing counter strike .

Once I got all dust out of every bad spot I was able to play again for a few years .

Hope it fixes it .

The issue on my op is most def heat related . I see others saying they are having similar issues and I think it’s heat for them 2 . But I’m no expert

open search

type cmd, select run as admin

type> sfc /scannow

let it run

after that runs and is completed

type> dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

after that completes type exit

if its windows 10, or 11, some updates that are critical to smooth performance will not trigger automatically, go into settings, and manually check updates, let updates run with nothing else running, restart when needed, run updates again until nothing else is available. with windows 11, most critical updates will not run automatically, you need to go into windows update, and select advanced options, and complete the cumulative or pack updates manually.. note** your computer cannot go to sleep/hibernate, or be shut off durring these updates or the updates start all over again from 0..

most do not advise it but driver updates are crucial as well to a smooth running system. in dire circumstances, or if i get lazy i use iobit driver booster.. there is a free version available, however it will update most, leaving a few that you can typically search yourself, download and install from the manufacturers websites.

also. an amazing utility to use is "Glary utilities" it finds a lot more than ccleaner will and it is less invasive ( wont trigger a false virus problem)

The game graphics are too insane imo. Gotta lower the resolution or get a brand new 4090.

This would be my suggestion as well, not the Glary utilities but the CMD prompt commands and the updates.

hahaha.. could use an old agp vid card to play slasher.. heck my old commodore has been logged in on jsp and runs slasher okay... why the need for a 4090?? lmao?

Also after the commands and updates, restart your computer.
