Here’s another reason why your idea sucks.

Let’s pretend I’m brand new and have 0 fg and only play LS (I actually started out on JSP playing this only since I have a phone and no computer). So I find an item I don’t want and decide to sell it. Uh ohh there’s a fee and now I have to pay and I can’t since I have 0 fg. So my only option is either play another game and sell stuff or beg for free fg (which is against jsp rules).

what was the first reason?

able to list <20fg items above limit with fee paid upfront

you would be able to list up to 50 items at a time with fee paid after, and the ones above 50 with fee paid upfront that was the suggestion

If your market gets flooded trying to sell stuff/skillables, it means your prices are too high. Putting more items on the mp for skillers and others to sort through is not the answer

I’m done here. Seems you can’t accept that no one posted any reason for why this is needed except your constant rebuttals.

I'm done aswell seems like most people voting and replying didn't read and/or understand the suggestion.

You mentioned supply and demand, to me there is no reason to limit supply in this case, if anyone wants to explain why there is, I'm happy to hear :)

thanks for the discussion

I wouldn't call 50 items flooded, it's normal to sell more than that per climb for me, it doesn't only mean prices are too high, it could be the person needing the items went to do something else.

For example currently there are no level 15 and 20 items on the market, I personally shrined/deleted hundreds of lvl15/20 magical+ items in the past less than 7 days, that I would've happily list for 1 fg.

I don't know how would it be hurting skillers to have more items on, it would just mean they could mute more items.

Well it does hurt skillers in the sense that if they collude to not buy items then people run out of space and sell cheaper, but this is a bad thing for the community as a whole

e: I should've made a third option in the poll of "I don't care" since I assume people whistle climbing or having guild skillers just send items to those people so their market doesn't fill

This is incorrect, this doesn’t happen.

Additionally, having 50 items allowed on the MP at one time is essentially extra storage, which is something LS/Paul wants to charge people for for using the game(which is reasonable). Giving me 25 extra storage slots would be great, but counterintuitive to what they’re trying to do.

there are guild vault transfer systems in place, so it's actually inefficient for cartrack to be in vibes seeing he's less likely to benefit from something like this.

But in a large amount of guilds you can vault across significant amounts of items and this is generally done free of charge seeing you're helping a guild member. However the 100 fg per 7 days of guild transfers is a reasonably hefty price for a lot of guilds.
So the solution here already exists really.

I'd rather not see excessive spam of the market as for the lvl 10/15 items i doubt the muters would be able to keep up which leads to a complete overspam of the market where your items rarely sell as others have 100 items listed.
as SZSZ pointed out, may also see excessive overpricing of items on the market, by comparison HC prices are about 3-5 fg per level 55 item, SC is in a good place for prices still.

So for both muters and sellers i think the current system works better than your suggested system. It may not specifically benefit you, as i suspect you could also very easily shove 500+ items up within a week. Saying that, a heck of a lot of others could as well, as a large number of items in 1-mq groups just simply arnt picked up and if there was a reason to basically shove all items on the market, we could easily flood it just as easily.

Another reason is for lag issues, as previously items stayed up on the market indefinitely, and eventually we had 1000's of items on the market which apparently caused issues for the system and got changed to the current system.

tldr: would be good for a few people, but the vast majority dont need this and the current system works better for them than your suggestion.

Kettle black much? Beneficial for me and others to keep it current and doesn't impact you.

You are funny.
