To unlock paladin you have to pass the master quest as a samurai, so playing a mage or guardian will not allow you to unlock paladin

i'm samurai on my solo char..Me and my cousin are new to LS and we are climbing together he's a fighter so i went guardian on a second char to tank and heal for us..but i really wanna try paladin so my samurai is getting closer to MQ

EDIT: misread.

#2:

Tanker / Healer... Guardian is better than a Mage in a two man group.

Cast / Healer... Mage is better for DPS + Healing.

The difference... is that a Guardian can also deal mass damage, but ONLY if you are using heavy weapons.

There is a way to play a Guardian to be effective, but those that shit on them, don't have the gear to use one to its' potential... even I don't have the gear, but I only solo Guardian feeder.

You guys might be better off each playing on easy mode solo versus playing as a group while you don't have decent gear.

If you're set on doing a 2 man, a magician would definitely be a good healer for a party as well as dealing out damage. I would not suggest doing rogue or guardian without proper gear which would cost a lot more. You can get mediocre magician gear pretty cheap.

This is sound advice.

For a 2 man group.

1 = Barbarian using Retribution + Knockdown (even if not tanker)
2 = YOU as a Samurai using Multi Strike + Two Hit Back (even if not tanker)
3 = Neither of you use any healing and work on Shrining and upgrading gear (the person with gear already may go tank?

The thing is, when you get like 3-5 monster spawn on screen, the Multi Strike comes into play, also, the Knockdown when 3 of the monsters that spawn are in a Column. (work this out with your cousin).

I am sure with the above, you will decide to go a minimum of 100 vitality, pick up gear for shrining or upgrading and regen in town.

EDIT: also, you can create up to 8 characters on SC, you only have 3... you need mules. you can store your gear on mules, your cousin should do the same thing, you can switch gear or get shrines from the mules by leaving one of you in the game while the other is transferring gear from their mule to their main character and then rejoining and Vice Versa. I am guessing you both know this, I am just pointing out what I saw from your Profile.

vault is good value - you probably won't regret it. But as to your question there is a "transfer" button in the marketplace. You can transfer between your characters with that.

You use the Marketplace and click on the Tab = Transfer, this will show a list of your characters, and if those characters have Space in their inventory, you can transfer items to them by placing that item into the box, select the character you want it to be transferred to and click, there is no fee or charge.

Your Vault is good to have your gear you are using already or for higher tier items as you level up, also you can remove the lower items you are not using and transfer with the Marketplace.

Note: each character has a base of +8 Slots (inventory), you can increase these by having the Same tier (level) items with +X% EES or EIS, Extra Equipment Slots or Extra Inventory Slots.

At level 1 or 4, you can use Tier III with a +3 EES or if overspawn +4... it increases by 1 per tier. This you put on your character(mule) so 3 items maximum = 9 (as for over spawn = 12) ... so 8 (base) + EES of X# it increases.

Also, you can complete the very first objective that will give you either +1 or +2 to EES (Complete the Maze)

Hope this helps.
