You might have to explain how and when you swap though, since that's going to have a big effect and as an inexperienced player if he does it wrong it'll produce just a lot of low tier stuff with high properties which probably won't result in much value.

if your gear is a bit more average i'd suggest 55 myself. those 4 levels can make things easier.

Also one of the biggest things to note is you do not need ML, a large number of the sexy drops topic items are found with 0-5 ML. Yes, again it helps but it's not a necessity.

My other recommendation is to at least get samurai before attempting this, it means each death takes more of your exp than if you didn't and it'll make the grind a little less tedious.

I do 61... but pretty much 55-63 is ideal IN MY OPINION

Unlock Samurai on the character that will be doing the dying? I didn’t know xp penalty changed like that, so that’s good info.

ye, same with prof,

if you reach alch you'd lose 33% of your current prof/xp for each death. bit excessive going that far for a death farmer though.

you do not need to be using the unlocked class. If you've unlocked alch and used a barb you'd still lose 33%

Yeah I definitely feel that. It’s something you gotta get used to but if you get it down it’s worth it.

Hijacking this thread to get my questions answered as well.

For some time now I have been very successfully leveling up my Transmuting to level 18, mainly by buying supply on the MP. However, the supply seems to be fine until Tier VII (20), but from Tier VIII (25) it seems that I will have to (partly) take care of the supply myself.

• Would you choose to deadfarm for this supply or just go for the MQ?
  
  
• In case of deadfarming choice, which level should I stay? I read that the advice here is for XIV -> level 59, is the following table correct?
  - Tier VIII -> level 29
  - Tier IX -> level 34
  - Tier X -> level 39
  - Tier XI -> level 44
  - Tier XII -> level 49
  - Tier XIII -> level 54
  - Tier XIV -> level 59
  
  
• To be able to collect the supplies I bought a decent sword set. Would you choose to use Magic Luck gear (armors / charms) or is it all about killing speed?
