What char did you use?

Barbarian

Came equipped with lvl 55 gear that had great strength and dexterity but a little low on vitality. Also came with magic luck since I found a energy gel that I used and mana regeneration from drinking all that water

For those who don’t care…..or wish to remind me that I posted this in the wrong place….I don’t care.

For those who do care It was the Nice to Cannes 42.195 km marathon.

I finished according to clock at 5 hr 4 min but since my group started later than most I’m hoping I got it under 5 hours.

Thanks for reading.

Sorry I don’t know how to post pictures from my iPhone gallery

Congrats

Big Congrats! I've done two but got some injuries that sprung up while training for my 3rd. Was thinking about doing LAM again in March but my calves are still fucked, so I'm taking it slow and maybe shooting for 2024. The route for the LA one kind of sucks now just so you know. I think the last few miles is a loop around so you see people who are ahead of you finishing and it ends at Century City or something which isn't all that exciting. It used to be one straight route starting from Dodger's Stadium, and ending by the beach in Santa Monica which was very nice because it was downhill for the last mile or so and was significantly cooler.

I'm honestly surprised you only used 5 gels. I bring like 12+ on marathon day and I still feel like I'm going to pass out at the end after eating everything they give me at the finish.

Yes you are correct they changed the LA route. Wife signed us up for it so ready or not we doing LA

Also there are a bunch of free run clubs like midnight runners all over LA that do 3 mile 6 mile runs.

Yes, I've trained with a group in the local LA area.

Cool. Wife and I go one almost every night. And we do orange theory, soul cycle, etc…..making me lose the weight whether I want to or not.

Nice, yeah cross training is super important. I don't run as much because it destroys my body, but doing other things keeps me pretty fit. I usually do a mix of swimming, cycling, pilates, bootcamp and weights. I've tried orange theory once. It seemed pretty good, but I didn't continue. Never tried soul cycle, but I do those cycling classes at the gym about twice a week.

Less weight over 26.2 miles is a good thing.

Generally i dont give 2 shits about what you post, HOWEVER being that ive done alot of running when i was deployed to Kuwait, this is a nice post.

I never ran a full marathon, only some halfs, alot of 5ks, and plenty of 10 milers. So thats awesome that you accomplished this. Big congrats man. Running that much in one duration is legit a big feat. Congrats again!
