As a both core player I can say there is no skill involved. There is caution, over caution at that. That's about it. Realistically you can play the game the exact same way on both cores, HC members choose to play with extra VIT for safety. I can't see a skill gap as I've played both quite a bit.

This is unfortunate the reality of the matter. There’s not enough gear as it is. There would need to be a massive influx of mq gear for hc to support more players.

yes games so hard clicking on pictures of monsters in the same 9 spots, having less gear available and more caution for slower climbs = GG hc #1

Thing is last 2-3 years HC lost A LOT of average mq gears on deaths. (100-140ee stuff)

People think it's safe, but it's not. Lack of skill isn't the only reason for deaths. We also have lags, disconnects, server side issues, etc.

This is amusing. Nobody cares if you think you have more skill than them. Let people enjoy the game in the way they want to. Not sure why people insist on “if you don’t play the game the way I do you’re a pussy”

The main problem with hardcore is gear.... It just doesn't exist.....

As people who use to play it hold it in there accounts, this does happen in softcore aswell but there are more players and more gear in the open market.

I've messaged a few people about gear who haven't played in 3 years and are like nah it took too long to collect I won't sell it. Which is fair it's there choice....

The best thing I think for hardcore would be tweak the drop rate so more "good items" dropped more frequently then softcore.

I'm quiet happy soling on hardcore, as the boringness of softcore cata's is mind numbingly boring for me.

When I was starting to learn the game this guy was on his peak so he knows what he is saying. I just wish hardcore had a bit better drops becouse atm no gear is availlable even If you will somehow get the forum gold to buy it.

doesnt help that some people rip once a month and are depleting the gear pool nicely lol.
