Outside of logging in / out of the game, you can just Create Game, then Leave game, this will clear the previous Catacomb and monsters.

I play solo, and when I start playing, I create a game, then continue with the catacomb, if I clear it, I am still in a group game, and when I fall into a TD, I just go to town and leave group game and re-create another group game... Note: I choose Guild Only to keep the game private, but for you, you can keep it open in the hopes someone will join you.

oh yes, i have done the group move before, but i thought this was a weird option i had come into, and i was wondering if there was a "solution" to my "problem"

There is one other thing about creating a group game and exiting a group game vs Logging in/out.

If you have come across "Emblems" during your catacomb run that gives you free Glyphing effects, if you log OUT, you lose those effects, BUT, if you leave game and re-create game, you KEEP the glyph effects.

This is also beneficial for you and your gameplay, and I am sure you have noticed it, but I am just making it public knowledge for those that may not have noticed this.
