Thank you both... you have tested it and confirmed it by your standards of playing Softcore and taking the time to notice that it doesn't work... thus the reason of my thread and question... and I noticed two(2) others agreeing with both of you, thus making it more plausable.

It is easy in a high level group to say MM or 101 while using Glyphs and a base of 100 vitality (excluding Sneaky objective) or even calculating the hit points from your base Vitality points per level etc.


Ironically, Rex is right here, as the part in red wasn't technically correct. In any case, vit glyphs don't add life like Juston said:

Thanks you for that clarification, just like I quoted a person before your first response, I am trying to obtain the information on behalf of say, an item or glyph that DOES have Vitality and make it more useful instead of a failed item. This was my reply:

I concur, I don't think that Glyphs do apply the hit points like Sneaky... it would actually be very beneficial if Glyphs did this because they have a time limit, and during that time, you gain levels... so the reward of glyphing these items would be more advantageous.

I am trying to find another "Suggestion" that could improve the game with my questioning, as you can see... I already thought that +int items/glyphs did NOT work that way, BUT... I needed clarification, and thankfully from the posts, people have confirmed my own suspicion.

How was the red part incorrect? Vitality increases physical def... it does that. Just like int increases your magic def.

Doesn't only do that, it also adds life regen per 25 pts on the char like Rex said lol

"Vitality also adds physical defense." would have been fine I guess. Just some semantics, nothing too crazy lol

Thank you for this post, and this is why I started this thread.

We KNOW that HARD points to vitality = MORE hit points.

However, Items &/or Glyphs are QUESTIONABLE, thus, those that have stated that these things do NOT add hit points, it needs more clarification.
