So true, from deaths I have lost characters that already had Rank 10-15+ in heavy weapons. :D

The trick to gaining Heavy Weapon profs is simple enough, use:
Tier III EE from level 1 to 15.
Tier VI EE from level 15 to 35
Tier X EE from level 35 to 55 and then either level Tier XI to 65 and then XIII or XIV to MQ.

Basically you kill off monsters so fast, you don't gain much prof points... so the other option is Welling where you have a higher % chance of gaining prof points when solo'ing.

I am due for another dead character, so I may lose another 10+ ranks over heavy weapons on a character.

Int side mods on my melee gear!

:rofl: So gear dependent... damn, even Datis realised that you can use a Tier I heal charm and gain prof ranks at the same rate, even when his character was level 150+ in a full group of climbers.

As for Bigheaded... he came in later and upon my statement(s) realised that healing has around 75% higher chance for someone to gain prof points.

Yet... you can have a level 150+ character gaining prof points using a Tier I heal charm for the group climbing @ level 1 to MQ... funny aye.

EDIT: yup, he being level 150 (higher than his prof ranking) could use a Tier I heal charm and still gain prof points in a group of level 1+

Read my edit to find out the difference... he is level 150 in a full MQ climb healing with a Tier I charm and still gaining Prof points.

Group is level 1

EDIT: been awhile... and updates may have changed since then... so nobody else will test this to be true or false... shit, this was when we used to bridge in characters.

I mean... I made it to lvl 143 solo without level up maps explore/hunting EPs using a magical lvl 15 staff with 25 int, and this robe:

Arcane pixiesilk robe
Level Req: 50
Physical Defense: 0 to 22
Magical Defense: 26 to 78

+21 Intelligence
+1287 Max Life
+1 to 3 Life per Attack
+1 to 1 Mana per Attack
+4% Heal Mastery
+4% Lightning Mastery

Both self-found. And yeah, I also used to keep a set of tier I heal charms to farm proficiency, even using it to charge up multiheal... but in the end, I am not really farming prof, I'm farming gear, so it's kinda pointless for me to be wasting my time using a tier I heal for 7000 actions just to get 1 more ee on my MQ heal on 1 char when I play all of them :lol:
