I mean yes this is complete true circle .

But completely wiping the game of items and starting over would literally kill the game .

No one will play .

Unless there is a massive increase to items dropping

Edit: even with this amazing event for 3 days .

I bet there will not be that many good items .

i dont have ls char at all but i know ber rune is hard to find

those prices are insane... why ppl pay so much? we could trade items vs 500fg if no one paid more. 40k fg is like 700$+

I think theyre willing to pay so much because they know its not gonna get wiped.

Just work for your gear like everyone else did.

Obv the game is alive because of old players and not the new ones because there are actually so many better games around. Old players stick to the game because they have friends here, are addicted or paid so much fgs they dont want to lose it all.

The only way to get new blood in the game is some tweek into it and reduce the gap between old players and new ones.

Switching LS to OSLS (Old school runescape) which stay the same as it is. And a LSR (Ls Revamped) where you lose everything each reset. The drops are massively increased, the prof aswell. The GPS earned would be changed to make it fair. It would bring alot of new people into the LS community since the market would be new and people could actually make FGS / GPS.

D2JSP could send a PM to all active user to let them know a new LS is coming where people can actually earn fgs by trading. (Time it to not start it during a new d2r season or POE season). I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be complicated to do and this would be sick.

it took 8 hours to do a fresh 5 man climb on test server, and this was getting fed shrines from solo’ers and getting a lucky 95 ee 55 dagger drop.
