Only post in S/A if you've been scammed.

This.

Your gold logs use floating point rounding and just a display tool for user value. Your fg was always 94.99. and will display correctly on the site, outside of your gold logs.

You don't need to wait and find out, Kevin has posted about this recently twice .

Awesome... so when the item(s) sold for 0.95 forum gold is "floating point rounding" in the explanation is actually lying?

If you sell 10 items @ 1 forum gold and you are taxed 0.05 you receive 0.95 forum gold from each item, then you SHOULD have a total of 9.50 forum gold right? RIGHT?

The logs LIST each item sold @ 0.95 RIGHT? There is NO ROUNDING floating point value UNLESS you buy a Vault and extend it BEFORE IT EXPIRES and the cost is reduced and it is rounded down etc ... this I understand, BUT, when selling an item, the TAX IS 0.05 per 1 forum gold... END OF STORY.

EDIT: Sorry, I will explain it this way;

My initial post listed ALL 28 items sold for 0.95 forum gold, and the MONTHLY total showed I have 28 transactions and the list of the 28 items were sold at 0.95, and the MONTLY total shows 26.59 forum gold, WHEREAS, it should show 26.60 forum gold. Yup this floating thing doesn't compute.

Your monthly gold logs are provided for value to you, and use rounding. Your actual gold, shown on your profile, and left rail navigation are correct.

Dang... sucks for HC slashers. I don't think this affects SC because our skillers buy mutables for more than 1 fg :P

Thanks... I understand that. I just want to know why the Gold Logs show a FALSE number? Hey, it is a new month starting with a 0 balance right? There should not be a "floating" or "rounding" number at all... that is included the month before right???

Something doesn't add up.

It is not a false number. It is calculated with JavaScript and is rounding with floating point.

So "Gold Logs" SHOWS;

Transactions: 28 ยท Gold In/Out: 26.59 / 0.00

This is FALSE, it is advertised as 26.59... thus it is FALSE because it is 26.60, so what if it is javascript, when you got to use GOLD LOGS as proof displaying Transactions: XX - Gold In/Out: xx.xx / x.xx for anything, the display is FALSE.

So what if there is a floating point, if you are an accountant, you have to produce exact numbers right, there is no FLOATING / Javascript excuse.

Fact is, the Gold Log is showing a FALSE account.

Who literally cares.

You still have the correct fg and nobody gives a shit about providing fg logs for 1 fg items.

This is basically a spam topic.
