Same here, we even tested crit strikes with Samurais @ level 75 using Longswords / Daggers with other equipment with + Dex or + Str and go head to head, hit for hit and to see who dies first...



I remember those days... I had like 3 x Tier III items @ level 1 with a minimum of +220 Max Life &/or Mana... going barb, fighter or guardian with the highest values of Vitality stats at the time was awesome.

EDIT: and yes, having +xxx mana did help on a barb using like a heal charm that could give more hit points back vs what was dealt.

Let's have hc pvp where you can challenge people and the loser doesn't only rip, but loot drops for the winner. Could be enabled or disabled by both sides. Now that would be interesting!

What would be the point of that, just make a toon and wear TierI items sine you lose every thing.

I liked PvP on HC because you got KO'd and not death.

Bc if you really wanna duel with your friend, you can bet your gear on it. One could say sure, I send u gear if I lose. But here, if you lose, boom, u lose a char and the gear is dropped into your friends lap. Oh what an experience that would be! 1 shot by a 35 longsword and take your mq axe :-P

I immediately read ' I miss the old Arena'

When we were testing crit strikes with Longsword / Daggers, neither of us got 1 hit killed using 12x EE level 35 longsword, how ever, the dagger and dex setup I died by the 3rd hit (1 sec action) and longswords with a 2 sec delay action.

But then, that is your prerogative, doubt many would play it that way without other incentives, this is just like gambling ... Roulette style (you know, put a single bullet into the chamber and see who lives or dies by (or before) the sixth pull of the trigger).

Of course. I'm drinking on a, Friday, mid day, at the office, and it is slow. So I'm just reminiscing of being 13 when d2 came out and we all went to blood more and murdered each other in loot duels :). Merry christmas friend
