I have to say that this bug also happens to me.
I am also German and also on mobile. What a coincidence!
It happens like this like once every 10-20 fights with drop:
2 or more items drop and the leftmost item disappears in the blink of an eye after the drop. Long enough that you reslize there was one more drop and not long enough to check stats on it.
I do not click the curved back arrow that is necessary to be hit to navigate further in catacombs on mobile.
But I can not say if the fight goes on at that point on the same tile.

It seems to be annoying bug on mobile ( iPhone in my case)

Let me set the record straight.

#1 = Pressing "Engage" BEFORE looking at the items that the monsters dropped have a TIME LIMIT BEFORE DISAPPEARING.
#2 = When COMPLETING a catacomb and a MAP appears, you have like 3 seconds to click on it BEFORE it disappears.
#3 = Treasure Chest: Once you press "ENGAGE", the items that came from the Chest will disappear within 3 seconds.

Simple solution, when encountering monsters and they drop items... DO NOT press "Engage" (whether it be the Icon or the Letter G for a PC).

Outside of Maps, most items from Well monsters or any monster kill will NOT disappear outside of pressing G (engage) or going to Town.

Unless you get disconnected. This also causes items to suddenly disappear as well.

True, I also forgot to mention that some objectives, like Hack the Horde, Bits n Pieces etc, also effects the drops because a new wave of monsters appear and that gives the drops a 3 second timer per wave until last wave is killed.
