No, you are laughing because you can not comprehend the loss of your items on SC, yet this post I made still remains... the Hardcock players still LOSE their items. SO what are you trying to prove??? Laugh all you like, you can not read the original post I made because you are a softcock.

GG you win this one, it is to hard to argue with you, I just keep getting dragged down to your level of thought and it is hurting my head i'm out GL on your crybaby topic.

Let me get this straight….so let’s say I die on softcore while farming and then my angry wife (or maybe angry mom for others on here) decides to take the phone away or restrict internet access whatever, with your idea if I don’t pay a fee in 48 hours or whatever time limit, then I lose all my experience and/or all my gear? If this the case then once again I vote no

0 yes
0 needs more thought

Clearly I am not the only one that thinks this idea needs to go bye bye….. :wallbash:

You have it wrong.

For a Softcore player... they can JUST continue playing at their character level without paying a fee (this is optional for those that have like 50+Rank in an item they use... they can either lose the gear and keep the ranks or just play months to recuperate the prof points lost).

As for HC... they still lose the gear, but they can resurrect the player with the same prof count at a price.

As for your example... that is your issue because it is out of context to playing the game.

It is not a QQ post, it is asking for constructive criticism... you have been the QQ baby because you have NOT contributed in your posts at all... just being an Internet bully poster that can not think beyond your own nose. (NOSE... your sight only exceeds that far with your childish bolding text to yell without caps... I can read... stop yelling and crying like a 5 year old or younger!)

I’m still a little confused. If I have 10 proficiency in let’s say dagger skill, and I die, I lose what? 100 proficiency maybe? The highest lvl weapon that I am seeing is lvl 35 dagger proficiency. I have no idea how much they lose per death but I don’t think that is where the problem lies. The bigger issue is going from 35 to 36 needs what 1 million dagger experience? To level to 36……

I could be wrong but I think the problem people have with leveling their proficiencies in soft core is not because of their random deaths but because it takes forever and ever and ever to have enough experience to gain the next level in proficiency.

1-10 Prof points (10 being maximum unless Event counters it) is the most you GAIN per WAVE... Wave = Monsters spawned on that square, this doesn't include more prof points by monsters like Slugslider or Gigabee that can "Call..." etc (Max is 10 prof points outside of Event... Note: this includes casting... so if you get 3 for melee, 3 for Ice and 3 for healing... you can only get another 1 prof point to either IF LUCKY).

Personally I think I lost you here... the main reason for the post is this:

SC = roughly 20% LOSS to prof / exp based on the character class which could mean 30% LOSS for Proficiency & Experience (every skill other than Fishing/cooking etc).
HC = You die... you lose everything... items (@ level of death) and rankings.

Remember... if you WANT to pay the "Resurrection" fee (still losing gear on either core), you keep all Ranks.

Resurrection is ONLY about keeping your Rankings

Wording is a fickle thing for all to comprehend... but that is why it is a suggestion and not a rule of thumb... but then if it was an applicable thing that one can do... who would use it?

I don't like using whistle when playing... but, everyone thinks I am nuts... gameplay comes in many forms and what they want to build on.

Remember... it is still optional... give up your items (SC) but retain prof count (remember, a death on SC counts for ALL prof points Wpns & charms).
